I ventured into app creation because I was tired of every tool requiring a subscription. Why should I have to pay a monthly fee just to track items or store my recipes? Many of the functions we use don't require a server to run, so why isn't it a one-time fee? It's a cash grab, and they profit off your data.
So my goal is straightforward: create apps I would want to use that work locally, keep data under my control, and not require a server to do the job.
